南韓是發達國家中自殺率最高的。當地近年有「地獄朝鮮」之稱。面對越來越大的經濟壓力，年輕一代形容生活有如在地獄般，他們被貼上「放棄」的標籤，「三拋世代」、「N拋世代」應運而生。

今集，Joi會訪問主流與非主流學生，和嘗試為他們提供不同道路的教育工作者，還有試圖改變制度的政客和拒絕服從的叛逆音樂家，以了解南韓年輕人如何在充滿壓力的社會中成長。

South Korea has topped the list of suicide rate among the developed countries and earned itself a name “Hell Joseon”. Facing ever greater economic stress, the young generation in the country is being labelled as having “given up” and the terms “Three Giving-Up Generation” and “Numerous Giving-Up Generation" arise.

Trying to make sense of how the young generation growing up in an intensely pressure-filled society, Joi interviews a spectrum of people in this episode, from students of mainstream and non-mainstream schools to educators trying to provide them with a different path, politicians trying to change the system and rebellious musicians who refuse to conform.
