今集長跑俠繼續尼泊爾之旅，他的目的地是南部的藍毗尼，這裏是佛陀的誕生地。魯爾會帶領我們走訪當地的佛寺，揭開佛教的神秘面紗。他會探訪當地的一班小僧侶，了解他們所遵守的戒律，仍會跟隨僧人學習冥想，放低雜念。另外，他亦會與一位尼泊爾的傳奇人物貝昆塔．曼納哈爾見面，他是一位奧運跑手，曾代表尼泊爾連續四屆參加奧運，他雖然年過60歲，但其跑步的速度竟比長跑俠更快，究竟他的跑步秘訣是甚麼？最後，長跑俠亦會參與一場地球上一場最有靈性及充滿驚喜的馬拉松。

《馬拉松遊世界2》的旅程將會從珠穆朗瑪峰谷地開始，這裏住了一班雪巴人，他們被譽為地上最強的越野跑手，長跑俠魯爾將會與他們見面，解構一下他們擅長跑山地賽的秘訣。之後，他會穿越尼泊爾的中心地帶，親眼見證2015年在當地所發生的大地震，究竟為居民帶來了甚麼災難性的影響。最後，他更會跟尼泊爾著名女跑手、曾被評選為國家地理雜誌選為年度探險家的米拉一起出賽。米拉透過跑步不但獲取了自信，亦改變了她既有的生活方式，讓她的人生活得更精彩。
