Hong Kong English Poetry Competition 2020

GIST

Radio 3's English Poetry Competition is back!  After last year's successful edition, we're doing it again! And as this is the second time, the theme this year is "Two".  If you're feeling creative, then send us your poem of 400 words or less to poetry@rthk.hk.  You can submit more than one entry too! Grab this chance to win great prizes and even have your winning piece read on air. The deadline is July 5, 2020.

Terms and Conditions

1. All submitted poems must:

•        be inspired by the theme “Two” and be written in English by Hong Kong residents.

•        be an original, previously unpublished work written by the participant.

•        be not more than 400 words.

•        not defame any living person, corporate body, infringe or breach any rights of copyright.

2. Participants can email their poem, full name, contact number and address to poetry@rthk.hk or post to PO BOX 70200 Kowloon.

3. Participants can submit more than one poem.

4. Participants must be 16 and above on or before 5 July 2020 to enter.

5. Participants must be Hong Kong residents, including Foreign Domestic Workers and Refugees.

6. By submitting an entry, participants agree to the publication/broadcast of their work by RTHK.

7. All personal data provided will be used for competition related purposes only.

8. The judges’ decision is final.

9. The competition is not open to RTHK employees or their immediate family members.

10. Winners will be announced in September 2020.
