Welcome to a new week on Morning Brew. We’ll start after the 9 O'clock news with your musical connections. Today’s first one, again suggested by a listener over the weekend, is a Canadian classic. See if you can suggest the next one with some kind of link to the first, however vague. At 9.40 we’re off to New York. Tracy Quan can’t be with us for a few weeks, so today we catch up with best selling author and New York Times writer Gabrielle Glaser. At 10.10 rugby mogul Robbie McRobbie will give us the latest on the local and Asian game. After 11.30 we welcome back star of stove and screen, Chef Jason Black, who’s in town for a couple of weeks visiting from South Africa.
Welcome to Fryday on Morning Brew. Today in 1928 sliced bread was sold for the first time, so our Chef today is the best thing since that... just ask him. Welcome back to R.J. Asher at 10.10. Join us on Facebook Live with your comments and questions. After 12 it's off to the movies as usual with James Marsh. This week he joins us on the line from Switzerland where he's at a film festival.
