Good morning and welcome to Thursday. Commentator Steve Vines will be back at 10.10 with his regular look between the lines. Join him on Facebook live. After 11.30, MB vet Dr. David Gething will be with us. We had an email yesterday from a listener about CBD (canabidiol) products in pet care, so that’s where we will start. And, at 12.10 we’re off to Venice to catch up with our Thursday wine expert JC Viens. It will be audio only again, as October early mornings in Burano are getting dark and cold. There’s nothing to see (apart from JC wrapped in a duvet).
James Ross with the decade's penultimate Morning Brew! And for the next few days we'll be playing "Six of the Best" as several of our regulars will be picking out six of their favourite songs, and reviewing the past decade for us. This morning after 10 Robbie McRobbie, head honcho at Hong Kong Rugby Union looks back at the past year and decade in rugby, along with some great music choices. After 11 author David Bellis from Gwulo: Old Hong Kong joins us to look back even further, with his 3rd book of "Old Hong Kong Photos and the Tales They Tell". If you'd like to win a copy, pls answer the question - What is the meaning of "Gwulo"? and email it to email@example.com. After 12 we look ahead to tomorrow night's New Year's Eve parties, and New Year's Day celebrations, and some of the other events in the first few days of 2020, with Sam Evans from Time Out Hong Kong.
